The 4th Texas Offshore Wind Energy Roundtable (TOWER) Conference & Offshore Wind Law (OWL) Conference took place in Houston, TX on August 27 & 28, 2013.
With federal support, the offshore wind industry continues to have wind in its sails. In his 2012 State of the Union Address, President Barack Obama called for further expansion of clean energy in the United States, including offshore wind. His administration will continue to support the industry through administration initiatives, such as a Department of Defense program that will use public land to develop renewable energy projects that will power up to 3 million households.
The 4th Texas Offshore Wind Energy Roundtable (TOWER Conference) & Offshore Wind Law (OWL) Conference, hosted by the Houston office of the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern US, Inc., seeks to help industry leaders from Texas realize opportunity by bringing some of the leading experts from Europe and the US to Houston. Conference participants can expect to be caught up on the latest developments in the Texas offshore wind market and to be able to network with some of the biggest players in the offshore industry from the Gulf Coast region.
Featuring more than 25 hours of intensive, cutting-edge information and powerful networking, this year's program will address the state of the industry globally and locally.
